Jeevan Bikas Samaj organized an annual review and prize distribution ceremony on 14 and 15 August, 2015. The annual review and interaction program was organized on 14th August where the annual review of the JBS’s microfinance plus other credit programmes was discussed. A review of the past year’s activities and plans for the FY 2015/16 was also shared in the presence of all the staffs of JBS.

Similarly, Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized on 15 August. The Chief Guest, Mr. Shankar Man Shrestha provided Jeevan Bikas Award to Ms. Maiya Rai for her outstanding performance, honesty and loyalty towards her work. Due to her continuous efforts, she was able to change the mentality of the members of Bhadrapur branch who hated microfinance at all and collect the entire due loan by bringing a significant economic upliftment in their life as well. Likewise, the awards for the best branch office, branch incharge, field staff and support staff was also distributed. In the same way, he honored the employees who were able to convert the due loan to zero and the employees who were able to catch the guilty who ran away by taking the collection amount of Ravi branch by giving consolation prizes.

Executive Director and Chairperson of JBS Mr. Yogendra Mandal closed the program by thanking the participants for making the program successful and meaningful along with the commitment to make JBS better in coming days.
