A team of seven participants of “JBS” visited three different MFIs and two IT companies from 28^th Sep. 2015 to 6^th Oct. 2015 of South India. The program was supported by Cleanstart Project (UNCDF). The major focus of the study was Clean Energy lending modules as well as Software & Mobile technologies used by MFIs. The objectives of the visit were to understand the implementation of software and technology used, visit MFIs and learn about its various activities, learn about Digital Field Applications and interact with the technical person of MFIs.

The participants participated in various interaction programs and discussed about the various programs leading to sustainable development of poor and marginalized sections of society. In that course, they made a field visit to FINCARE, Esaf, SKDRDP, eSthenos Process Solution Pvt. Ltd., Aartoo IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and closely analyzed the demonstration by Cookstove.
